almost the same with Z1 just minimal improvements like front speakers faster clock speed of the processor battery life 3000mAh compare to 2600mAh sim size etc i will stick with Z1 rather than Z3c
Same crappy camera with useless 20Mpix. Where is a camera with UltraHD resolution and 1/2.3" sensor?

I prefer the 720p screen on 4.6" (perfect size) which will produce less heat, and coupled with the efficient SD801 overall better heat management is achieved.
The battery is upped to 2,600 mAh and with some software tweaking it will last for 2 days easily. Also glad they got rid of the scratchy back panel and kept the same dimensions as the Z1C.
I'm upgrading to this baby once it hits the market.
Awesome size and specs, yeah an Infrared port would be nice and I'd prefer an AMOLED screen but this is SO much nicer than the generic Samsung look everything Samsung has now. Especially the stupid hardware buttons on their tablets!
Thankfully they've kept the FM radio, I use the radio more than anything else on my current phone!
The Z3C should have the same screen technology that reduces processor strain as the Z3 has. Coupled with a 300mAh bigger battery and a more efficient chip, I see this phone scoring like at least 85 hours on the battery endurance test. It'll likely go over 90 hours...
I'm happy it's still 720p. All you FHD proponents need to get an M7. And about the plastic frame? Better shock absorbing ability, very useful on a phone that you want to keep small (i.e. no cases). Glass back = better heat dissipation. Hotter processors = less efficient power usage. This phone is a major improvement over Z1C methinks, especially in the battery department :-)
FYI, did you know that the individual pixels on a 4.6" HD screen are bigger than those on a 4.3" HD screen? That means they need less light to achieve the same brightness...

720p isn't that bad, but @1080p this would be the best u-5" phone ever.
The usage times are really good! I was afraid that bigger screen would have make this much worse, but the bigger battery offsets the bigger screen! Good that they remained 720p! If you wan to have 1080p you can go for bigger phone. Third smart phone that has tolerable usage times. The first was Lumia 720, the next Z1 compact and this is even better! Good!
Sumi, 03 Sep 2014Disappointed with colors of Sony xperia Z3 compact. :( Expected Lavender or xperia ZR's cool pinkOhh dayum no they are complaining about colors xD! . These colors are so good nice, simple and elegant
AnonD-301636, 03 Sep 2014so i chceked some reviews and people saying it's full hd... anyone can confirm if its full hd or hd?Fortunately it is 720p. 1080p isn't necessary since you wont notice a difference on such a small screen anyways. 720p will dramatically increase battery life.

Seriously you people have no idea what you're talking about. You won't notice a difference between 330 ppi and 1000000ppi. The only thing that will happen is that the battery drains faster.
