new lollipop comparison shows that z3c is not a worthy upgrade from z1c

[deleted post]To be quite honest there isn't a lot of difference between the z1 compact and the z3 compact in performance. I think my personal choice was based on the z3 compact being newer technology and slightly better battery. I was always going to go for a compact model because I don't like carrying big 5inch + phones in my pockets.

You will see many helpful advises regarding all aspects of this phone
They will help you to make an informed decision. By now, the number of Z3C owners have grown enough to offset rumours. The true is the true, nobody can change the real true
AnonD-67716, 11 Apr 2015Can anyone confirm if in Italy, comes bundled with Sony's MDR-NC31E headset? ThanksI am in US, but my phone(Z3 Compact) is from Italy and it comes with MH750 ear-buds.
AnonD-387209, 17 Apr 2015Hey guys. Which phone do you think is the best: Xperia Z3 compact or LG G3? I really don't kno... moreI was deciding between the same phones. If you love having the best display the G3 is the phone to beat but if you want a phone that doesn't lag with one of the best batteries in a smartphone and has the better performance the z3 compact is the phone to own. I would go for what suits you. I went for z3 compact because It's the most powerful compact phone around.

Many claim they have seen and experienced it the rest of the world knows otherwise. Does you windows just break on there own? We have not invented self exploding glass yet.
I installed Lollipop and I must admit it was a bit a stupid Idea.
The lock screen pattern hidden when you want to unlock is a pain in the ass. The battery goes down much faster too for no fucking reasons. They also remove a few shortcuts that were pretty handy. But it's not Sony's fault, it's just the new Android version (for the battery draining faster I'm not quite sure...)
Some of the apps I had removed (Vine, Twitter) where reinstalled by the update. I also had to disable some useless Sony apps again, and there are some you can't do anything about.
I wish we had a Cyanogen support for this phone.
If you are happy with Kitkat and donc need anything from the new version, don't do the stupid move I did.
About the self cracking issue, once again, it's a myth. The phone is good, but there are some issues about the software(s) in my opinion.

I have owned many Sony phones but with this Z3C I feel more proud, a life enhancing experience
This is probably the best phone that Sony has made. Happy ownership!
Is it true that xperia z3 compact suffers with a self crack problem ? Please reply me, i'm going to buy a new z3 compact phone, due to these rumors i'm in a hesitated mind.
Hey guys. Which phone do you think is the best: Xperia Z3 compact or LG G3? I really don't know which one is the best choice, I like the small size of Z3 and a lot of things on G3. Please help me.

It proved to be a good investment as my kid got a hold of the phone and dropped it on the kitchen tiled floor. Thankfully no problems with the phone.
Anonymous, 16 Apr 2015How do you even?Look it was clearly an error do to the fact that i have kids and a nagging wife. I'm not stupid although the phone is trying to make it seem that way. You should see some of the text messages I have sent in the past. I am not aliterate just got big fingers. At least I have found another problem in owning a compact phone.
addy, 16 Apr 2015i have tested in night mode.. not sure if its the same during morning hours...Using the camera in night mode is a lot worse on my z3c. I'm not one to take pictures in the dark. If it's any consolation my iPhone 5s front facing camera is very similar in the dark an I consider the iPhone 5s still to have an edge when it comes to the camera. Seems very natural compared to most mobile phone cameras which tend to be over saturated with colours. The closet mobile camera I've seen that seems to compare to the z3c is my wife's Samsung galaxy s5 although I consider her phone to have the better screen, I don't really rate lcd screens compared to amoled display. Although Sony has not done a bad job with the Xperia z lines. If you feel that the camera isn't as it should be you should have it checked just to give you a peice of mind. For anyone that thinks I was trying to say my wife's Samsung galaxy s5 is better I'm not. Even with the amoled display it is not as good as my z3c in my opinion. The z3c runs a lot smoother and seems to be faster in opening apps and is easier to hold and carry in the pocket. That's why she choice Samsung an I went for Sony.
I bought the phone last week and i am really happy with it, previously owned a galaxy s3 and this one is way better for me, display and photos are slighty worse (colour wise) but otherwise i have nothing to complain about, battery is fabulous and there is no noticeable lag or frame rate drop like i experienced with my old phone. Sometimes when opening an application right after closing another one might take half a second more and the frame rate might slighty drop (noticeable to the trained eye) but that's about it, i prefer cute little games like leo's fortune so i didn't try any intensive games but i doubt a device with flagship specs will have any issues. On day two i've noticed a small crack over the front camera, i am unsure wether it was cracked or not when i got the phone and i didn't drop the phone either, it isn't visible in any way when taking photos though. I am afraid it might expand over an impact but that remains to be seen. I've got the black one, it has a premium feel and i have to say that sony did well to go with solid translucent plastic on the sides, it has a really nice look in the light and it should do better at impacts too but keep in mind that the glass on front and back will always be full of fingerprints, it doesn't bother me but it is certaninly something good to know before going for this phone.
