Had this phone for a month now and it's awesome! Very responsive, great battery life(I got 3 days once) and great screen. If you want a smaller phone but still want good performance then this phone is perfect.
sony, 12 Mar 2015hi everyone, I am thinking to buy this phone, tired of Samsung and tired of big phones. ca... moreI have this phone and its really impressed me. It really looks good, the screen looks like 1080p but its 720p, its really fast and smart and amazing battery life. Even with so many apps open, the phone is still so fast. The waterproof feature works on my phone but don't put it in water too much. I once dropped it and it feel on tiles still in one piece no cracks. I get compliments also from friends and strangers coz it looks so good and it never lags. 2 day battery is pretty easy to get out of the phone with moderate to heavy use like listening to music 3 hours browsing not over 2 hours 4G, brightness at auto, wifi, live walpaper on, lots of bbm, facebook and whatsapp msgs. At the end of my day I always have 60 to 65%. And if u live in really cold country that can cause the back panel and screen to become fragile and any pressure will crack them. other phone screens also crack easily coz of this

Anonymous, 07 Mar 2015oh come on.... the cracking glass is a hoax created by people who drop their phones roughly a... moreno tisnt true, actually mine has just cracked whilst sitting in the box , first a small hairline crack accross the back then a few days later completely shattered
Perfect phone, just too much bloatware and battery life ain't so great.
Screen colors ain't so nice, compared to AMOLED display. But overall very good phone for that price.

very cold temp will make the glass shrink a little against the force of glue resulting in cracking...i am guessing though
It has been proven that glass cracks under very low temperatures. So those who are living in areas where it gets very cold are at a high risk (nothern countries). That's why many people are experiencing this problem. Cold temperature makes the glass of the phone very fragile and any pressure on the glass will cause it to crack. That's where the self-cracking thing come from - not Sony's fault though
Anonymous, 12 Mar 2015only you know.good for you.why are you trolling everywhere???If you got the same problem then you will understand.

I read most of reviews here before buying this phone and I was almost convinced not to buy it because of the self-cracking issue.
After two weeks of using this phone, I am really happy that I bought it and so far there is no crack (thanx God) and no lag.
PS: I bought an anti-crack tempered glass screen and one of those jelly transparent covers for it.
burdador, 10 Mar 2015Hey i bought z3c in greenhills last november2014. Price for color black is higher compared to ... moreCan you give me some of your expirience using the phone??
Im more on gaming so i really want to know if its overheats or what so ever..and is it like other phones that after you used all 16gb memory the phones getting laggy or slow?? Pls help nid your opinion bout this phone tnx..
I bought my sony experia z3 compact probably 6 months ago. I don't take it outside, my charger port, as in the plastic bit that covers the charging port has stopped closing properly and opens when it wants, which allows dirt and dust to get in. Also it is no longer waterproof, Also. I tried to video my friend doing a backflip and my phone was being an asshole and didn't allow me to do so. Other than that perfect phone.
Anonymous, 07 Mar 2015oh come on.... the cracking glass is a hoax created by people who drop their phones roughly a... moreSome people may be using the 'self cracking' as a hoax, but I am not. The crack is un-noticable from a distance, and is a small arch above the charging port. But I have never even taken it out of the house, and it only stays in my room, in the draw or on my desk, I place it down nicely and have never dropped it. Because of this small crack I can't use the water proof feature, which is one of the main reasons I got it, but I am not dishing out £250 for something that's not my fault
STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS PHONE. I contacted Sony after noticing my screen had received a crack on its own accord. I didn't think this was possible until i found out BBC watchdog investigated Sony's earlier Experia phones cracking on their own accord and also Sony admitting it to me in later emails which makes me think they have not sorted this problem with the z3 line. You can buy this phone if you want but i have had it less than 6 months and it has already damaged itself and is now useless.
