I have been using this phone for about 2 weeks and I'm very satisfied with it.
The only problem that I have is that the headphones settings don't work with Walkman but they do with other players such as Google play.
I have this phone for a week now (upgraded from the Samsung Galaxy S3). After a 7 days use overall the phone is good, but not as good as I expected.
In terms of materials the glass is an amazing fingerprint magnet! And the overall finishes aren't that great, the leave me the impression of cheep materials, the front and back feels like plastic, not glass, while the transparent plastic around it breaks the "classy" look. Despite the fact that it's smaller, the S3 had a better grip than the Z3 Compact.
Going on the software, for now it works amazingly fast. The theme can't be customized that much, the icons are quite huge, the keyboard layout is horrible (in terms of symbols arrangement) and it doesn't remember symbol combinations that you entered. The camera is good but the 20.7mp are available only when you are using it on manual. The drop down menu is horrible because you have to change tabs to turn on the wifi and other things, but the stamina mode is amazing. Talking about drop menu, it's a pain in the a** having to go to settings to enter the password for the wifi and having to change the tab in order to reach the option for changing the display brightness.
-the materials feel cheep
-small and low power flash
-high price for what it offers
-horrible customization possibilities
-horrible drop down menu
-cheap feeling hands free, but stays great in the ears and the sound is great
-small and fast
-good battery life
It's one of the best phone.
I had iPhone 5s but this phone is amazing. Every thing is excellent.
Keep away from it! This device is extremely fragile! It is literally falling to pieces, 2nd drop, 2nd crack, unresponsive screen. First mobile phone I break since 1999.
dept, 24 Jan 2015lol..but it's a year old storyAnd that changes the fact about dirty marketing policies of Samsung through trolls making fake stories here and all around in what way exactly?
ToM, 25 Jan 2015I tried different set of this phone, and the loudness and clarity of the speakers vary greatly... moreMake sure its the latest update then, Sony released an update to address sound quality of the speaker which means one of the phones you are using doesn't have the latest update if you notice a difference between the two z3c's sound.
I am using Z3C from past week as a secondary phone but honestly I can't stop using this little beast.
I am using LG G3 as my primary phone and am satisfied from that. But Z3C is so easy and fast to use that I am starting to use it more often.
1. Superb Battery with great standby time.
2. Classy design
3. Crisp display
4. Compact and super fast
5. Good stereo sound quality
6. Easy to handle with single hand
7. Water & Dust resistant
8. Superb camera
9. Expandable memory
10. No compromise on processor and internals like other mini devises.
And so on.......
1. Glass on both side feels bit fragile
2. Even though camera is superb all the special effects are limited to 8mp resolution only.
3. Might have provided with a 3gb ram to make it future proof( My opinion only)
Guys don't hesitate to go for Z3C if you are looking for a compact mobile. The best from Sony as many of you expressed here.
I tried different set of this phone, and the loudness and clarity of the speakers vary greatly from one phone to another.
now I can say that I have a real smart phone
every thing is awesome .. very very happy having this one
sound clarity (speaker & mic) > best battery > camera > speed > amazing size > MY XPERIA feature allow you to locate your lost phone
RECOMMENDED & LOVE YOU SONY

It lools like Sony took everything best every sony phone had and plased in to one model:). I have this model for about 5 months and its still surprises me. Cant stop smiling. No balckouts so far.
I tested the waterproofing of this phone and its works perfectly. Just make sure you wash the phone with fresh water after swimming with it. Double tap, smart call handling, hi-res audio, 20.7mp camera that's amazing - I couldn't be more happier :)

Is your hand designed for abnormally gigantic phones? 4.6-4.7" screen size is perfect. U bring TV if u need huge screens.
Hi, I wanna buy z3c this week and I'm quite nervous about the comments on black outs... Is this really true?
I bought this phone for one reason and it nearly broke it. With the release of 128gb microsd cards I was excited to finally get rid of my iPod. Finally I will only have to worry about one device.
So the night I got it I put about 50gb of music on it before I stopped it by accident. I was fine with what was added for awhile and I admit I loved it. I never had to wait a second for the list of all the music to show up. I decided to put the rest on. I have 116gb of music in total.
Wow. The walkmen app was stuck loading the list for like 10 minutes before the phone just shut off. I couldn't get the button to power it back up either. I had to plug the phone into my computer again. When it powered back up the whole phone was lagging so I took the SD card out. Still laggy. I delete apps. Everyone that I could. Still laggy. I shut it off for awhile and turned it back on. Back to normal it seemed. So I tried downloading a very lightweight music player. The phone won't even download anything. The lags gone but it's still not the phone it was before putting the rest of my music on it. I don't even know what to do with the thing anymore.
