Hi, please help. My Z5's android version is still 5.1.1 so I want to upgrade it to the latest version or at the least to nougat. However, when I check the software version through sony's website using the IMEI,it says that my software is up todate. I have 12.81 GB available storage and I even reset my phone but to no avail. Thank you so much!

What mus... moreThere is no solution to it, even if u reset your smartphone, because this is the nature of SNAPDRAGON 810 high-end flagships, they suffer from overheating. But, if u are using ANDROID 7.1.1, u should experience lesser overheating like what I am experiencing now

Powers, 24 Mar 2018Don't buy this phone.I have this stupid phone last 18 months..overheating main issue.sometimes... moreWhat's more stupid is that u are one of the people who complains about the overheating issue and calls it stupid without even having the knowledge of what is the issue. It ain't Sony's fault that made this smartphone overheat, they did a great job on the thermals, it is just that Qualcomm had issues with their SNAPDRAGON 810, other smartphones powered by it also got affected even if they have a lot of thermal pipes, it is Qualcomm's fault. this is where everyone starts to accuse Sony for making overheating smartphones when it ain't their fault at all. The temperatures improved in ANDROID 7.1.1 with better performance and way lesser chipset throttling. Please, go learn some technology, to clear some parts of your immature mindset, and think twice before accusing the wrong one

It becomes warn when recording in 4k or long video playback.
In rest its a great phone and now you can find new one at great price

My Z5s battery and screen got damaged the warranty repaired for free but I'll have to wait a couple of days to get my hands back on my phone. I wish that it wouldn't happen but they got it done 😅
