Battery life was already decreased when we got the Marshmallow one but it was bearable, with Nougat, percentages drop in seconds!!!

Battery life seems to be getting shorter after a years use. Touching screen with wet hands sends it into an epileptic fit and gets unbearably hot in a short time. Now the processor is seemingly slowing down and the bottom speaker got wet and failed.

Z3C or Z5C .. ?
I know that z5c is faster, android 7.0, and better camera .. but z3c has better battery life, and does not heat as easy .. !
I just need some Owners to confirm or deny above points .. especially regarding android nougat performance on z5c .. and the heating issues on it .. ?

Since Nougat update the bass thumping from the speakers is huge on my Z5C, anyone else noticed this?

Only when playing high graphics games same like all 2014 smartphones, or even less worse, self cracking?? Fake reputation like many.

Seriously Sony, can't you do ... moreThe display on the s7, is awesome! so you might consider getting that? because the Z5's L.C.D. is exactly that! so if you don't mind having a slower phone, when opening web content? buy the Samsung!

AnonD-481725, 15 Feb 2017Very weird, my z3 is almost 3 years old, it has not a single issue. Z3 was a failure of a model....overheated easily, self cracking screen problems, bad battery life...etc etc.....they are worth nothing now.

Got Android 7 on my Z5 compact but speaker volume is now really low at max settings, why??? Please FIX it ASAP Sony!!!

Why Sony, why? What is the point of upgrading to Nougat, when it makes our phones even slower? It was the same with The Z5 Premium, so why can't you release a reliable software update? Words fail me!

I live in Turkey. I've got the Nougat. So far no problem. This phone is only excellent. The heating problem can be solved by putting your phone under water ;-)

Thought I was getting the latest security update yesterday. Instead I ended up with Nougat. Smooth sailing so far :-)

Well I am on way home but system updates is showing an update of 1279.5MB download so this must be Nougat. Will get home and over wifi download it and see what happens. Anyhow what does Nougat really bring to table? My security patch is 1st Nov 2016.
Had this since about May last year and been brilliant longest had a device.Have tried others along the way but it is phone sized, robust,powerfull,got a lanyard hole, proper shutter button, colourful screen, good battery, good cam, good video and can handle noisy concerts and just no problems.
I am bored with it is only problem but unless I can get another smallish phone with features above then it can't be beat. Though of buying white Z5C as a change maybe but defo wanting new phone.Tried HTC 10,S6,S7 lots others but still big phones and tried Blackberry Priv which was excellent but to big and ached my hand it was so wide.
MWC soon so lets see if anything smallish powerful and different pops up but I don't hold my breath.
