I upgraded it to Nougat 7.1.1 and everything are ok. Heating of battery is normal according to other Z5 users and based from my experience, the heating is just only from the start (when playing games etc.) maybe around 5-10 mins. only and after that it cools down. Hello guys I have recently bought a new Z5 dual, everything wo... moreYes .what you said that is obsolutely correct..please do not update to 7.1.1 . Because some issues which are not still fixed in Nougat.. Issues: 1) Loud speaker volume will be very low 2) Heating issue when you surf internet over 3g or 4g and while playing games 3) Battery will drain fast . So don't update your device. If you update then you will face these issues. Then simply downgrade if you want to go back to previous version...

Hello guys I have recently bought a new Z5 dual, everything works amazing: the battery is good,great performance,speaker is clear and loud,high brightness screen doesn't drain much power, heats up alittle which isn't so bad
Right now it's marshmallow
There is a system update available which is probably nougat
Do you recommend me to update? Some comments says that the update ruins the battery life, slow performance and make the speakers weaker, I usually play much games and can't put up with weak battery,
plz Z5 users give me your opinion and the significant disadvantages you face. Thank you

This is a great phone,
I have updated to 7.1.1 and everything is working smart. I had gone thr the comments and I have no challenge like in some comments
I love everything about this phone, camera is wow, touch is good. I have used mirror link, the figure print wonderful, battery very ok- I charged yesterday and now with 30% and telling me I can use up to 15hrs

All their phones released after Z3 are nothing but dissappointment. Lackluster performance, horrible battery life etc. etc. etc. Disappointing really because I actually love the phone's design and shape.

Anonymous, 18 Aug 2017Its ok 7.1.1 but OTG not working You need add Detect USB Device at to the notifications panel and tap it after you plug in otg storage in order to use it. Otherwise you can to Settings>Device Connection>USB Connectivity then tap Detect USB Device to trigger the otg connection.

I have a year with my device, I like the sony brand but it is regrettable that the phone too hot, buy it because had said that the problem of overheating had been resolved but not, besides the life of bacteria is quite short if you use it without the stamina mode, when you put the stamina mode affects the performance of the image on the screen. It is necessary to change brand, although they do not compare with sony quality.
