Kerry, 13 Nov 2015Wtf? You really don't know what is the meaning of 4K? 1080 is only 1K(Full HD). But 4K is better!2160 x 3840 pixels this is 4 k resulation
Which one is Better ?
Nexus 6P or Sony Xperia Z5 Premium ?
I wanna upgrade from Iphone 5
got my x5 also. something tat i dont know is i dont see lte available, like my x3, jus show 4g provided only. something tat might be available after some update maybe, if someone could explain my ignorance thankyou
Just received the phone today, I'm very impressed and highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a high end device. My phones I went through in past two years are iPhone, LG flex, HTC and then Xperia z3, jumped on galaxy note edge, then went back to Xperia and most likely I'll stick with Sony, I'm actually glad they stick with similar design as it's very elegant and has that premium feel to it, just like iPhone did when they came out with 4, since 4s apple been slipping behind more and more, just my 2€

Kenboi, 11 Nov 2015Are the 4k photos clear and sharp?if you seen old pics in this mobile...
than also...its look clear..sharp...and new....
I reckon the only improvements this phone (or its successor) needs are optical image stabilization, a dual tone flash, and a bump up to the Snapdragon 820 to boost performance.
The lack of these features aren't a deal breaker though, as it's still a brilliant piece of tech.
Kenboi, 11 Nov 2015Are the 4k photos clear and sharp? You need to know what is 4K first, then you dont need that question...

Sony uses an automatic upscaling feature so that it can be enjoyed using the full 4K display. The question then becomes: If most of the content I view will be FHD, what benefit will I see from the 4K display? Well to help answer that question, ePrice decided to test the Xperia Z5 Premium against the Apple iPhone 6s Plus.
They took some lower resolution content and then compared the upscaled output on the 4K display of the Xperia Z5 Premium against the FHD display of the iPhone 6s Plus. We have included some of the comparison below (click the source link for the full suite of images), but we think the results speak for themselves.
The comparisons shown below show a 720p video, News app video and a 2MP photo compared on both devices. A crop is included to the right of each image to give a sense of difference between both devices. Even without clicking on the images below, you should be able to tell the difference quite clearly. Sony appears to do a great job with its upscaling processing to give a more defined picture on the Xperia Z5 Premium. It shows that even with low-resolution standard definition content, the Xperia Z5 Premium should do a sterling job of making it look good.
AnonD-464744, 11 Nov 2015Also keen to hear real-life reviews esp. on battery. Ed, 10 Nov 2015So, anybody got it yet? Really curious about Z5 premium especially the battery Also keen to hear real-life reviews esp. on battery. Holding back on a 6P as this might be the phone to go for.
Just got the Z5 Premium. It lasts easily for 36 hours. If u keep the screen open a lot if will use about 12% per hour with adaptive brightness set to ON and STAMINA mode turned ON. For example, 10 hours operation with 2 hours screen time uses around 35% of the battery (did not use heavy duty graphics or games) which is quite good for normal business and recreational use. I did not test the video streaming power consumption yet though You can get better power longevity if you turn OFF Adaptive brightness.
