GSMArena is my go to place for specs, but they don't mention on this device the 3.5mm jack part that it produces a charge for Noise Canceling earphones. As most NC devices have an external bulky battery pack, Sony figured out to make the 3.5mm jack itself to be power source to work for like; Sony XBA-NC85d, Sony MDR-NC31em, or Sony MDR-NC750 (newest NC in-ear buds). They should add a slot in the specs to identify a power source or accepts "5 pole" charging, as this is a Sony special feature for their devices different than others.

yes indeed , using the 810 powered device would be a bit of a worry for me, i often use resources to max , i dont know how it would hold up, while it looks to have a lot of things going for it , i will wait and see what the next model brings.
