Anonymous, 10 Sep 2015Super Amoled has been the KING of screens for years now...all the respected reviews say that..... morethey know more about it . those amoleds have organic substances that gets damaged after 3-5 years.
World's first, that is what Sony was always about.
As for me, IPS displays are much more matured and reliable, while the latest oleds are suffering hard from defects and dual tones, burn in and what not. That doesn't mean, that if your like oled you shouldn't go for it of course.

All specs are top notch especially Cam and Display but the question is how SD 810 will handle this 4k display...can expect over heating issues and battery drain issues bcz of sd 810 and Ultra HD display...
memphisraine, 10 Sep 2015I still have my samsung wave 8500 and the screen is still perfect.Super Amoled has been the KING of screens for years now...all the respected reviews say that...IPS-Neo is still new and time will tell how good it is..Sony fanboys have always been envious of Super Amoled
It looks phablet
Xperia Z5 - 154.4 x 75.8 x 7.8 mm (6.08 x 2.98 x 0.31 in)
Note 5 - 153.2 x 76.1 x 7.6 mm (6.03 x 3.00 x 0.30 in)
I have Sony Z1 and I am little bit disappointed with its camera quality at night, as the images whatever I capture from it are so blurry and noisy and I hope if I gets this Z5 premium, I won,t face this kind of problem. Otherwise I will go for another options.
I like Sony Brands. Z5 premium is my option. Hope on sale soon! Come on...
8knots, 09 Sep 2015Do you even need a phone with a display that has an "infinite" contrast ratio?
Oh... moreinfinite contrast is highly not faithful to real life blacks, this also includes very high levels of contrast and saturation. Faithful to real life image is an image that has basic contrast, saturation and very slightly washed out blacks, not pure blacks. So imo mobile screens (including sony's) tend to overdone things mostly. Don't get me wrong I like it, sometimes.
I wouldn't mind having the option to edit my display settings like contrast and saturation to match what I want, like my tv. That's my only complain about mobile companies. They HAVE the means to do it so I don't get it. It seems pretty simple.
kamran younis, 09 Sep 2015srsly?yep, in order to save battery. So on standby it'll be FHD.

Anonymous, 09 Sep 2015You know, AMOLED lasts 2-4 years, agreed. But the point is, after a few months, the screen sta... moreWho says that AMOLED lasts 2-4 years and starts getting yellow? I bought my s4 when it came out and still using it, no problems with the screen until now. If you never had an AMOLED, you should try. Plus, 4k on tiny screens are useless, because you can't see the pixels from about 350 ppi, and it will take a lot of ram and battery and create ton of heat (snapdragon 810 lmao)
