If you noticed the camera, sony camera always keep it inside the phone... Unlike 42mp and other brand like samsung... Bulky camera... Even iphone also bulky too... We just wait till some day, they will make it with non bulky 42 or even more... They can make higher camera pixels easily but high pixel yet small sized camera is a challenge

Anonymous, 10 Sep 2015Not to save battery. Even at FHD all the pixels of the display of Z5 Premium are on. It works ... more2Mp screen means less power drain from processor than with 8Mp 4K, even with the same pixels.

DenisXD, 10 Sep 2015yep, in order to save battery. So on standby it'll be FHD.Not to save battery. Even at FHD all the pixels of the display of Z5 Premium are on. It works at FHD to improve performance of the phone, not battery.

Its different with steady shot. There is steady shot like in xperia phone. And optical steady shot like in sony comcorder..

LG G4 f1.8 optical OIS, note5 1.9 optical+digital OIS, Z5 2.0 digital OIS,
Just so you know, note5 got almost no noise, dedails smoothed; G4 got more details and some noise, but not so bad; Z5 got even more detail but so much noise at the same time, I hope that will change since this was preproduction unit...
Also Z5 got fastest shutter speed despite its 2.0 aperture, so with superfocus its fastest also only with camera-shutter-button. G4 got max 30sec, note5 10sec, Z5 ?(1/2sec for sure).

World's first, that is what Sony was always about.
As for me, IPS displays are much more matured and reliable, while the latest oleds are suffering hard from defects and dual tones, burn in and what not. That doesn't mean, that if your like oled you shouldn't go for it of course.

I have Sony Z1 and I am little bit disappointed with its camera quality at night, as the images whatever I capture from it are so blurry and noisy and I hope if I gets this Z5 premium, I won,t face this kind of problem. Otherwise I will go for another options.
