What is the back of this phone made of? Is it glass or metal? It's so reflective. Does it crack easily like other phones with glass casing?
AnonD-183089, 12 Jan 2017I agree with him dear i didn't figure such issues till nowGreat :D.
For what it is worth, I have a Z5 and it overheats sometimes. Most often with apps with extensive use of camera and graphics (video, augmented reality), less often due to heavy general usage. Overheating should not be a concern for the regular user. Besides that, there is a lot of annoying stuff with this phone and I regret my purchase. (ex.: turns off when plugged in at 1%, external SD not operating as internal (apps move back when updated), glass cracks easily for the benefit of less scratches, softer and lighter casing makes it easier to bend, turning on takes forever, if you need to encrypt it you will also have an annoying signal when not entering passcode after restart, when fingerprint log in fails you are prompted to type SONY in capitals). Also, integration with Sony products and services was a part of my rationale to buy this phone, so naturally I regret it even more on that basis. Due to the fact that there is no other top line company that with such an ease lose their commitment to their service portfolio. But, again, for the regular user that is not into Sony services, this will not be a concern. It is a concern, however, that when you want a waterproof phone, you also want it to be sturdy. This phone is not. The first in z-series was sturdy, then lighter and more polished phones came out on the expense of their durability. This is not a phone fit to be handed over to your kids when you are done with it.

,, the most important thing for me is high quality
Anonymous, 11 Jan 2017The complaint that Z5 Premium overheats is a total lie. I am having it and nothing like that. Even when playing high graphics games or recording video with a high resolution or frame rate?? Are you sure.

Does anyone have micro stutterings while scrolling on web? But it only occurs on some web pages and just slightly.
AnonD-589765, 19 Dec 2016I cant everything in terms of detailed specs, but here goes (based on my experience with Z5P)
... moreWhat I mean about "noise" during zooming in is (if i can describe it in layman's term) some artefacts present an photo becomes blurred hence the (technical term) "noise.
There were (apparently) some issues with the speakers of the Z lineup that before it was updated to Marshmallow the speakers were loud and then it became kind of soft and week thereafter the update. Being the 5.5" phone that it is would you say definitely the Z5 Premium's speakers are louder than the Z5 and Z3?
You said the photos doesn't look warmer but definitely not cool-looking like the bluish cool of the Z3? Have you had anymore updates to the camera to improve quality, speed & performance?
On the multitasking does the apps (or games) still reload or does it keep memory and loads almost instantly?
Bootup/startup is under 30 seconds?
i am tried of thinking between this phone and one plus 3 and huawi p9 , i need a phone with good mafucture quality to stay with me for years
whci one is best
Ted , 07 Jan 2017I heard that Z5 Premium got overheating issues. Is it true?? Yes it does overheat when recording with a high resolution or frame rate or playing a high graphics games, same as most smartphones.
