The power management option will be no longer available with the new update and it has been replaced with a new feature called Doze Mode.
Doze mode suspends battery-draining network activities, such as location services, syncing and Wi-Fi® scanning in the background when you have not been using your device for a long time. Phone calls and text messaging (SMS) are not affected.
Doze mode is activated when all of the following conditions are met:
•Your device’s screen is off.
•Your device is not charging.
•You have not used your device for more than 1 hour.
Doze mode is cancelled when you resume using the device. Doze mode is also paused periodically when the device is being updated.
Tip: This feature is enabled by default and is recommended for best battery performance.
You can, however, make exceptions for certain applications. Android™ 6.0
To make exceptions from optimisation
1.From your Home screen, tap the Application screen icon.
2.Find and tap Settings > Battery usage.
3.Tap the menu button (three vertical dots) and select Battery optimization. A list
appears showing applications that are not optimized.
4.To add applications to this list, tap Not optimized > All apps.
5.Tap an app, then tap Don't optimize > DONE. This setting is valid for both Doze mode and App Standby.
