Derived from an online user account reports of problems with Z phones, where people decide to report themselves their problems, of which about 10% actually reported cracked screens....
Which by deductive logic and mathematical derivative makes about 0.25% of possible selfcrackeing screen problem in Xperia Z series phones, which equates to statistical quality control mishap every phone company deals with....
25% bull is just troll rant....

I use it not for play but for business.
Only the basic functions and webserver programs.
There is a bug when open and message to read.
It gives you "resizing video" frame.
2. Another bug. When you are are call list and you touch search, it gives me dublicated contacts. when I go at the contacts there is not any more double. (i have filtered. Have set-up as i wanted accourding to my accounts.
3 when open call list it take a little time to show up all the recent call list.
4. The messages work slow when I search a message.
Even when I open it is slow in showing the list of recent messages.
5. Write me and i will be gkad to send you a screen shot of resizing video.
For the rest is a nice phone.

ryan, 25 Jan 2016Does the Z5 have the same self screen cracking problems as the Z3 ?Man the display can't crack by itself. You have to put pressure on it to break and for example if you drop it is going to shatter. And also for those people how are asking about durability phones are not made for dropping. It is simple just don't drop the phone and you are set mate.

i did like the way glass was on the edge of Z1. the sides has been too normal ever since . if glass edge comes around again n better u know, less crease and slots, then that would look valuable (premium). im a careful user and hate casing nice phone. I think i saw a concept phone that was like that. They should have improve glass edge and by now it would read messages, fingerprint, costume lighting for certain reason,etc.

I had been suffering with Samsung phones for years, been forced to change phones after months after promising so much yet offering so little, I bought my first xperia two years ago, never looked back. Sony is the way

Go study more.Not Bull....I know you love Sony, but no phone is perfect....Google it and see...in fact in a survey of 500 owners in the UK, 25% said that their phone screens cracked without dropping or misuse....Also there was a Sony hotline in the UK dedicated to this problem....I could go on and on, but you will only get offended by the truth....Anyway, I'm not here to bash Sony, just inquiring about this known problem.

Sony has the best and most complete phones.I am using Xperia Z for more than two years and want to buy Z5 Premium but can't "divorce" from my Z.It's just amazing phone,still like brand new after two years,been swimming in water,dropped on concrete several times and never had any problems.And not to mention how it works-so smooth,without any lags,never freezed.After this experience for me there is only Sony and nothing else.
