Sony Android Touch UI

Sony Xperia Z is one of the hottest smartphone right now and the good news is you are not too far away from the moment when you'll be able to get one of your own. In fact the smartphone is already on sale in Japan.

The Sony Xperia Z is now available for purchase through NTT DoCoMo and the carrier has already shipped the units to those who pre-ordered the smartphone.

Sony has a customized version of the Xperia Z for the Japanese market, which carries the codename SO-02E. The special made Xperia Z comes with a One Seg Tuner, FeliCa NFC, infrared port as well as a few localized software features.

Sony Xperia Z is currently available in Black, White and Purple color variants. If you happen to live in Japan and are planning to buy the smartphone, check out the NTT DoCoMo's product page.

The Sony Xperia Z should be landing in Europe towards the end of the month, with wider availability to follow in March.
