Sheshraj, 27 Sep 2014purchased Z ultra recently updated to 4.4.2 but why icant move apps to microsd card ? is it no... moreIt's not the phone, Android Apps is set to installed in main memory only, MMC is just an add on storage mainly to save photos, videos & music. All Android Based phone is set like this. CMIIW.
This phone is seriously the god of phones, had it for a year now still in good shape, plus battery life is massive, been watching movies and playing in the gym for 2 hours and it only drained 8% battery. Don't waste your cash on overpriced iphone 6 plus. Hope they make Z2 ultra soon.
This is definitely better than the Note 4 and iPhone 6 plus, there is just no comparison, and the 6.4" size is wonderful to use.
The Big G, 29 Sep 2014Good day everyone I just want to ask about the battery life of xperia Z Ultra? how long does i... moreThe batterylife of the xperia z ultra is good. I use the z ultra daily and i dont have to recharge more than once a day. I use it for watching tv broadcasts and watch youtube but i know when i am using video i always plug it to a powersupply. The batterylife will always drain when the brightness of the screen is too high.
I listen to music on it a lot with a sony ericsson MW1 blutooth headset. i dont have to use the Z ultra to do a lot of things. with the MW1 i can listen to incoming whatsapp messages and play my music and making calls.
I think if you are using the Z ultra to take high quality videos and pictures it will effect you batterylife.
I have never used the xperia z ulra under water because i am not a swimmer.
I hope this was useful.
Good day everyone I just want to ask about the battery life of xperia Z Ultra? how long does it last? and can we use it underwater?
purchased Z ultra recently updated to 4.4.2 but why icant move apps to microsd card ? is it not available in Z ultra someone please confirm or i need to install a app for this feature ?
Just placed mine in my shirt pocket, and it slipped in so easily. Yes it does stick out slightly, but width wise there is no problem which is really good news.
After using my Xperia Z ultra for 5 months now, it only lets itself down on one thing...the camera. I happily agreed to owning mine knowing this but if I could send it for a "modification" it would get an LED flash...and maybe some more megapixels. So here's my z ultra 2 wishlist.
32gb internal memory+sd card slot.
Quad HD 6.5" display
20 megapixel camera and flash.
4000 mah battery
And no bigger than the current model.

Anonymous, 24 Sep 2014no flash no changeable removable battery low sound volumes - we have one ..We all have our own opinions and my opinion is this an overall brilliant device, it's going to be very difficult for any other device to beat this. You don't need removal battery, I have never removed my battery in any of my phones for any reason so your reasoning doesn't make sense. I've never used flash either, you don't need it unless you're desperate to take pictures during the night. For me the volume is very loud, how much louder do you want it.
Just been playing with my new Z Ultra, unbelievable piece of kit, only had a few hours and initially looked massive but I'm already getting used to it. It certainly doesn't look too big to use as a phone, and I certainly will be placing it against my face without any care what other people think. Sound is actually very good, not what many people have been saying. It certainly very thin and I feel they could have made it slightly thicker, bezels seem fine because I find that the top and bottom bezels become quite handy in holding the device in landscape mode. It may be a struggle getting it in a pocket but I shall find out sometime today when I take it to work, I don't think it should cause too many problems. Battery life is quite short and it seems that charging is quite slow and long. Just upgraded to Kit Kat 4.4.4 and thankfully there hasn't been any problems as yet. I've also tried the camera both the rear and front facing and both are excellent in normal light, however in low light you need to edit the photo and increase white exposure which actually improves the photo considerably. Haven't tried the video yet but will do today. Messaging is wonderful especially in landscape mode. When I registered my google account, I was delighted to find that all the apps I had downloaded on my previous device suddenly all appeared on this device, which saved me so much time having to install them all over again. It's a lovely device and certainly better than anything Samsung can offer, I have mine on a 2 year contract and I shall be making the most of it. I don't think I could use a smaller device, not after having used this beauty, it's premium and luxury in every way. Three's 4G is also very fast, I have three's all-you-can-eat-data so it's unlikely I shall be using wifi. If there is anything else to comment on I shall give a further update.
