Unfortunately the Z series phones look good only in the pictures. I saw in the mall, it does not have any WOW factor.

Unfortunately it does. The camera is the only sore point on the phone. Noise levels are high and low light photography is poor. Hopefully this will be sorted out in future updates. Sony has announced a new update (build 471) already and will release a major update (with the X-Reality engine) when the phone releases globally.

I can't seem to find the ROM stats! If i find out how, I will let you know.
WDWMrWomble, 06 Aug 2013How on earth have you bought this phone, its not been released anywhere yetHey Womble, it is available in India and "a few select Asian markets" (quoted from the Sony website).
It was available in India from 1 week ago
So far, after using it in a day, I am a satisfied customer. It is not a "phablet" in my opinion, but it is a pocketable mini tablet with phone functionality. The size difference to my Kindle Fire HD is so minimal that the screen size of XZ Ultra is 81 percent that of a 7 inch tablet (based on screen area computation). Plus i can comfortably put this mini tablet to my trouser pocket with ease- it fits! The build quality is out of this world, and I won't go back to Galaxy notes anymore; only except if Samsung will change their designs and build. I am still a Samsung fan (i have a galaxy s4 and note 10.1 but sold my note 2 already). Now i am definitely leaning towards Sony.
I still like my BEST PHONE - Xperia Z, really Experience The Best Of Sony In Smartphone. But I wonder why don't you all guys wait for Honami i1, I assure that i1 is better than Z Ultra, even Z also. Nevermind, I won't change my Xperia Z, it is my life.
all u smart people out there should know it by now that this phone actually a phablet(nah pretty much tablet) i mean look.let me give genius some example. .xperia z zr flash included.htc one ,mini, max flash included.galaxy s4,mini other variant i can't remember it al but i think one of them name i don't know s4 aduseranger.but the bottom line is this, sony probably consider this piece of technology a tablet rather than a phone due to u know for instance, xperia tablet z have know flash first nexus 7 have 1.2 megapixel(rofl)XD galaxy tab 3 well samsung doesn't put much efford in camera as its name suggested around 3 megapixel(lol).and also one of the most important oem, apple again doesn't put much effort in tablet camera ipad 4 5mp while iphone have 8mp.
Kuldeep, 06 Aug 2013What about battery of sony Z ultra???
Can anyone tell me???
It is too early to say, since i have only had it for a day now. First day has given me about 3/4th of a day. But with Stamina mode, I have seen visible improvement (a little more than a full day)
Huh itz a big joke NO flash.....dont go with price is lyk a red chilly....you should go for samsung''''
I am very impressed with Sony solution to tackle the 6"+ phablet market. The only downside for me is the lack of Flash. I would really replaced my iPad with this device if it can at least offer tough battery performance on par with 12 hours light work of Galaxy Mega 6".
Thank you for the article, gsmarena :)
Im in love of this device wanna buy it but does the flash light affect the low light images massively please answer me i consider laccking of this feature is one of sony's bad jokes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Whether the phone is big and powerful or not, whether android lags or not, i am going to buy it and experience the Xperia Z ultra.
My mind is made on this, I swear!
Can some good XZU user tell us about ram on this device? How much free ram after a reboot when just purchased? How much after configuring it to your needs?
I bothers me that only less than half of ram is user accessible in some devices. Please give some feedback in this matter, also in battery life. I'm considering buying this and forget about the Lenovo K900. Lenovo is delaying too much. Thank you guys!
