Z ultra has 1080p triluminos lcd while mega 6.3 has 720p lcd. Z ultra has quad core s800 krait 400 cpu at 2.2 ghz and mega has dual core s400 krait 1.7 ghz. Z ultra is water and dust resistant, only 6.5 mm thin profile and many more advantages over mega 6.3. And wait for its review about battery backup..

wasasonyfan, 23 Jul 2013why does samsung always defeat sony in phones.... note3 vs zu benchmarks.. approx. 33k vs 3... moreWhen have Samsung ever beaten Sony, you must be dreaming, The Z Ultra is going to be way better than the Note 3, I honestly don't know why they're going to bother with the second rate plastic Note 3, but if they want to release it then they shouldn't be surprised if it fails.
Anonymous, 23 Jul 2013Low light and darkness, heard about that? Tell us how to deal with that instead before we worr... moreNo problem, anonymous, go and check the following youtube video and see how utterly brilliant and amazing the camera is :-
No one needs a flash to be honest, I haven't used the flash in 4 years, this phone can take brilliant pictures in very low light. People must be very strange to want to take pictures in pitch black. too many people are making assumptions before they have seen the phone or checked some of these videos. Also it just shows how much people really know about phones and photography that you really must have a flash. There are so many editing features in this phone as well, which makes it an added bonus.

Now available here in Vietnam for around 850usd, though the price can drop in the next few weeks to an average of 600 to 700usd (similar price with Xperia Z and HTC One, initial prices were high but became drastically cheaper after 3 to 5 weeks). Check out this website: http://cellphones.com.vn/xperia-z-ultra-lte-c6806.html. I went to the shop and they have the white one available. Unbelievably thin, and it looks like a small tablet in my opinion. It looks beautiful and elegant, and I like the aluminum edge. The viewing angles are better than the Xperia Z. I am still thinking to replace my Xperia Z. Let's wait for the new flagship Xperia i1 if it has the same triluminuos display of the Z Ultra.
Everyone the z is only water proof in clean water it's says on the box (my sister has this I have the sp) and can not be used in the sea and if gets dust and water, the phone is ruined

Tcool, 23 Jul 2013Hahaha, can't hardly wait to get out of the rain before using the phone. I think to first thin... moreReally Tcool, you must be superman if you can suddenly find a dry place when you're already on the phone, you're statement just doesn't make sense. The world has been crying out for this waterproofing solution, it just makes sense. In one of your previous statements you say that a person has to be careless to get an accidental splash, if it's accidental it can't really be careless. Splashes happen alot, I'm not sure which country you live in, but I live in the country where it rains for most of the year - England. Maybe in a vastly hot country, where it rarely rains you will not need it, but for the UK and Europe this is what we have all been waiting for. Lots of people would like the option of washing their phone at time to time and yes you would be surprised how many people and especially couples love to video themselves in the shower and then upload them onto certain websites for all to see.
Cant hardly wait to get my arms chopped before I use my phone's eye scrolling?
Hahaha, can't hardly wait to get out of the rain before using the phone. I think to first thing to do when it rains is to get to a safe dry place rather than thinking of calling someone under the rain.
Washing the phone? Why not try washing your netbook and DSLR camera as well to keep them clean.
Taking photos and videos during shower? What, are we making shower video scandal? LOL!
Anyone heard of RAIN, can't believe some of the comments with regards to waterproofing. I use both my phones in the outdoors, and sometimes I have no choice but to use it in the rain, which is why the screens aren't what they should be anymore, hence the need for waterproofing. It seems to me that people either use their phone only at home and at work or not at all, I'm quite surprised. I also like to keep my phone clean, hence I would like the option to wash it now and again, and this will enable me to do so. Many people wish to take pictures and videos of themselves in the shower, this will enable them to do so. I tried it with both my phones and screens are partly ruined.
