lolita, 20 Jul 2013agreed..i use little photo all the time for night time so the flash actually doesn't bother me... moreIf it is hangs, just press the power button for the longest time until it switch off. You need not wait for 30 minutes or more.
I tried it with my Sony Xperia P, iPhone 4 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) and it works! They have non-replaceable battery.
Why didn't have Flash Light????
FYI buddy: The research results that human's eye just can differentiate up to 350 ppi. So, above 350 ppi will be same for us.
Is there no flash for the camera?
I had issues about Xperia Z overheating 5-10 mins of using it. It may be because of its compact design for waterproofing stuff. I hope this won't happen with this model because it is really disturbing.

And the phone will shutdown, its much better coz in that way the phone will not take some damage to the chipsets! But still I recomend removable battery coz if u have a spare battery u can change the battery whenever u like.
im so inlove with xperia phones this days.... sony you rock my world.
no need to take out the battery. hold the power key and the up volume key for 5 seconds. hard reset. found that out the hard way

Can the battery be changed? I know it's non user replacable. But if I send it to a showroom, would they be able to replace the battery?
AShoaib, 20 Jul 2013Ultra means Ultra slim for such size, its not about the camera... if you assume something wron... moreit's really funny.
ultra means slim ? this one is not ultra.
this is Xperia Z Ultra. that means upgraded Xperia Z series.
Xperia Z,ZL,ZR also having a 13mp with led flash. then what about Z Ultra ?
Now, don't be upset if the phone doesn't have a flashlight, the new Exmor RS sensor seems to be promising, unlike what the Ultra had :(
If dual sim capability is added to the z ultra then it will be a gold item.
ton, 18 Jul 2013Why sony xperia z ultra has no camera led flash?instead of led flash it has exmor RS sensor which is used to capture the high quality pictures in dim light & dark rooms....
