Don’t you mean that Nokia and Motorola are using Amoled screens because they know Amoled is the BEST….. Sony has no money to buy Amoled from Samsung. … In fact 30% of Sony mobile phones are made with Samsung parts.
LCD screens are Obsolute and more battery hungry.
Please do some research and listen to the real experts about screen quality.
Sony TV’s are the worst. In fact Sony begged Samsung for technology assistance with TV’s. Sony TV’s have struggled for nearly a decade.
You Sony fanboys always lie and twist the truth to fulfill your Sony fantasys.
Sony has made continual losses for 4 consecutive years. This year Sony sold many of its assets to survive and hide its massive losses. Yes, Sony was a great company in 70’s, 80’s and 90’s when there was little competition, but Sony’s glory days are finished and many professionals are predicting that Sony will go Bankrupt.
Sony Xperia Z Ultra....Big Screen Big Entertainment........No Smartphone Can Compete With it.!!!!!!!!!
Tcool, 04 Jul 2013Ok bye... See you on Galaxy Note III page soon and give your best shot.they just offered u a bigger s4 or s3 or id what other model LOL,where's ur flexible oled display?or 5,6 mm thin?now go eat ur words LOL
not me, 04 Jul 2013go wait buddy, idk what r u still doing here
See you on Galaxy Note III page soon and give your best shot.
These samsung supporters don't learn do they, the S4 is no match for this beast and they may as well not bother with the note 3, no different to the s4 except in size. People who moan about the camera on the Z Ultra don't seem to realise that 8mp is more than sufficient for any phone, and Sony doesn't need to include flash as they have the Exmor RS for low light conditions.

Ok fine, I think I will wait for Galaxy Note III.
and best of luck to this little mermaid. LOL!

Will be pointless making every phone with everything everytime
No LED flash.
Only 8MP camera.
3050 mAh battery only.
Useless piece of brick @ 179.4 mm long x 92.2 mm wide
Cmon Sony, wake up!
I have a Sony Xperia Ion which works great. The Z Ultra has a bigger screen 6.4 compared to 4.6 and a faster processor with a Quad-core 2.2 GHz Krait 400 compared to Dual-core 1.5 GHz Adreno 220. The only question I have is why the shittier camera 8 MP, 3264 x 2448 pixels, autofocus compared to 12 MP, 4000x3000 pixels, autofocus, LED flash ???
will lee wanta, 03 Jul 2013a very interesting product but i concern about the bateryNo need, according to the Sony comment the battery life time is at list 1 day.
This tablet-phone is super I like the thickness and the gorgeous display triluminos but why they didn't put LED FLASH??
I hope the Honami i1 will be like ZL size with the beautiful triluminos display and with LED FLASH!
a very interesting product
but i concern about the batery
No wonder this monster is gonna topple Samsung like a twig. 2.2 Gigz Quad Core with a brilliant display; and the best part no compromise on the design factor.
Just that the camera should have been 12.1 MP Exmor.
Rest all - "Simply Irresistible"
Tcool, 01 Jul 2013LOL! I didn't say that 9.1mm is not thick nor thin.
Don't accuse if you have no proof.
For ... moretcool
The phone is not big. I am using it. Its just nice. I bet most of your friends thinks whoever holds a bigger phones are silly huh? It's okay if you think so, it human nature. There is nothing to be afraid of. My brother used to think so when I use my galaxy tab 7.7 as a phone. I told him "you can think whatever you want to think of, but it's my phone". He couldn't answer me back.
Be careful when you comment on big phones on somebody, you not have the answer when a person replies you back. It just like saying "I am better than him, but he says he better than you"
Vin1, 03 Jul 2013It's merely your fantasy opinions.Motorola is not struggling unlike Sony which is still strugg... moreReally, Motorola is not struggling?
Out of 16000 employees in Motorola mobility since Google took over, only 4000 are left. get your facts right, check the daily wall street journal and you will know. Till this day Google has not termed it is a Google company as Google paid for the motorola's patents and not technology.
SONY as whole organization WAS struggling but is now back to profits, the consumer electronics section was the one which struggled the most and had major losses. Having said that, SONY is still the giant in terms of Visual tech and leader in Broadcast Engineering worked with massive profits. Check the annual reports. SONY is the first company to officially support 2K and 4K resolution in broadcast industry and every major company is using it for the actual tech work. Sammy is just hanging in the customer lounges.
