jerard, 10 Jan 2013bravia engine2 is a gimmick ,SUPER AMOLED is the best deep black and infinte contrast
s... moreActually, no... Deep blacks, yes, but detail in movies and photos, especially dark scenes? AMOLED is very poor. It was one of the things that surprised me when i bought Note 2, i was looking forward to watch movies on a biiiig HD display with deepest black, and then i had to max out the brightness to get good detail?? My Xperia Pro did better with its small 3.7 inch lcd, and it wasnt even HD!
And as we know, Note 2 has MUCH better dispaly than S3. Look up some side by side comparisions of S3 and Xperia T on youtube, the two things you will notice is 1. black looks greyish on the Xperia T, and 2. The S3 fails to show details in dark areas.
In addition Z and ZL has exact color reproduction. I love my Note 2 but the display leaves a lot to be desired, its the weakest part of the Note 2 in many ways. This lack of detail really has me wondering, i would never believe it if i didnt se it, and it was so obvious, its really more than a litte, this is not nitpicking, as you will see for yourself on the S3 vs Xperia T videos, like this one, jump forward to 5 minutes,
The reviewer generally like the S3 display more, but he points out the lack of detail and the oversaturated colors as disadvantages.
Anonymous, 09 Jan 2013dimentions 131x69, dsp 5" inches Is it possiblIt's very possible, diagonal length is calculated using the Pythagorean Theorem. Here is the formula:
Diagonal = √(L²+W²)
Pedro, 10 Jan 2013But I like the ZL better because it's smaller :( i hope kimstore gets this. You can always have the option to buy it online if ever this phone will not be available in Philippine market, that gives you some sort of exclusivity knowing that not many people will be using it here in PH.:-)
This Sony Xperia Z (Brazil = ZQ) It's Mine!
I'll recycle my Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III!
bravia engine2 is a gimmick ,SUPER AMOLED is the best deep black and infinte contrast
So there goes the Xperia Z and ZL! And the Xperia TX hasn't even been officially released in the Philippines. :( you have to buy it online.
What about these two? I hope Sony goes all out with their phones this year. A lot of us here are waiting for the new Xperia lineup. Most of my friends have been there for Sony/SE since the Cybershot days LOL
This is better that Z, but why is not water and dust resistant. Where's the OTG?
Why so much business?
Anonymous, 09 Jan 2013dimentions 131x69, dsp 5" inches Is it possibl5 inches in diagonal on a 16:9 screen resulting W x L = 4.357877685 in x 2.451306197 in (= 62.263770 mm) or less than 69 mm.

Please, I LOVE THIS PHONE! I am gonna sell my BlackBerry Bold 9790 for this phone! Please come to the Philippines!!!
I'll buy online whichever of these 2 phones (Z & ZL) that won't be released here in Philippines, gives me some sort of exclusivity to use something that isn't available in local market. I think the Z will be released in Philippines because it supports both PH LTE frequencies 1800 & 2100 while ZL only supports 2100. ZL most probably won't be available for Philippine market.
awesome design Sony but stil some cons......
1.screen size is 5.0,441 ppi pixels but battery
only 2370 mah not good
2. non removeble battery:(
3.no OLED screen
