xperia ZL has the same chipset of xperia Z, but xperia Z is water and dust protected, also the xperia ZL has IR-blaster, and is smaller, but they both have the same screen
if you want a more physically "strong" phone go for the Z
if you want a smaller device with a strange elegant look go for the ZL

Can I go for Sony Xperia ZL or Sony Xperia Z ?
Piccolo, 14 Oct 2013Heyy, whre did this phone store the screenshoot?? Hi mate! It's stored in the gallery! For ZL's case, it's stored in the "Album" app. Just open the Album and you'll have access to your pictures, videos and screenshots. Cheers!
shanu, 14 Oct 2013thanks bro....c6503 support 3G...No problem bro! Good to hear that!
Actually the model you'll get is dependent on the Sony store in your country.
For my case, Singapore Sony Store is only selling the C6503 version.
But my ZL is the C6502 version because I bought an export set.
But eventually it serves the same good purpose (:
Juneyd Jikama, 12 Oct 2013DOes xperia zl HANG?? Since it has a non removable battery its gona b a real problem if it hangsActually, it never hangs (mine never did), and for your kind information, ZL does have a button to manually restart phone. (small button inside back cover)
Benjamin, 13 Oct 2013Hi mate!
So I'm thinking that you would want a device like ZL but with a Z1 UI or you would ... moreYes u understand me that is what i am exactly for.

Shanu, 13 Oct 2013which xperia zl model support 2G , 3G Support? plz tell me guys....all of them support 2G and 3G
all of them.
what you need to know is the frequency in which your carrier works
2G/GSM: 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 (MHZ)
3G/HSDPA: 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 (MHZ)
2G/GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 (MHZ)
3G/HSDPA 850 / 900 / 2100 (MHZ)
4G/LTE 800 / 850 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600 (MHZ)
2G/GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G/HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100
4G/LTE 700 / 850 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100
as you can see all of them support 2G/3G, but the C6502 does NOT support 4G/LTE.
as a personal opinion, as a traveler i prefer the C6502 because it can hook on every 3G network, the 4G support is not an issue since for now 4G is not globally available, but 3G almost is, so with C6502 you can actually use 3G everywhere in the world, with the other two you need to be within the frequency to be able to use either 4G or 3G, ad there are countries where 3G and 4G will only work on the C6506 so the other will only work on 2G, and also the opposite so the C6506 will only work on G2, so i prefer to be able to use 3G everywhere, but that is just my opinion as a traveler.
Razhiel, 13 Oct 2013Wich versión looks better, white or black?
it goes like this:
red, white and black
this is red:
as you can see the red one is the more elegant, i have the white and it looks "weird" in a very good way with the silicon case, it has some sort of star wars/star trek feeling
so there you have it
sonymobile7, 13 Oct 2013Thx 4 replying. I dont like waterproof nor old user interface , will ever Zl have the new user... moreHi mate!
So I'm thinking that you would want a device like ZL but with a Z1 UI or you would also accept a device that has the Z1 design but that is not of waterproof.
As for the UI that you've mentioned, most probable we will have to wait the next software updates by Sony. But after all if you've mentioned that waterproof is not something that you would need, ZL is a wise choice! Grab it man! Cheers!

Juneyd Jikama, 12 Oct 2013DOes xperia zl HANG?? Since it has a non removable battery its gona b a real problem if it hangsThe Xperia ZL does not hang. Usually hanging comes from too little memory. You never run out of memory with this phone.
