P.S I HAVE TAKEN THE PICS AND VIDEOS UNDER THE WATER

But it did not enter the sealed part(battery).. Just be carefull when u remove ur back cover to avoid the water get into the sensitive part(battery). This phone is still waterproof.. Except that small problem
mobile-lover, 16 Aug 2013man xperia u has only 4 gb available..jst check it..and no memcard! So wat u think nw?Dont worry, i have an Xperia U right here. I know it has 6 GB, just check it.
Dont give advices when you are the one who need them.
mobile-lover, 16 Aug 2013man xperia u has only 4 gb available..jst check it..and no memcard! So wat u think nw?Xperia U has around 6 GB total available. The 4GB you are talking about is the one for user storage, in addition there is around 2GB available for installing apps and games. Yes thats only 2GB but on the Xperia U you can move apps to the user storage, something you cant do on ZR.
Xperia ZR or Xperia SP Which is better ? Good Battery life , sound quality , net browsing experience and no lagging are my requirements.
Phone is very good but price amount is very high so i purchased canvas 2 hd i just a perfect phone for me
Anonymous, 15 Aug 2013But I agree with him. It's true. Xperia U has around 6 GB available storage for apps and games... moreman xperia u has only 4 gb available..jst check it..and no memcard! So wat u think nw?
Some things Sony must do to gain market share.
Sony is providing best hardware with great innovations like waterproofing, pencil support, Triluminos Display, etc. Still it must move fast in innovating. For example, Sony must try to make use of Sensors like Samsung. Samsung is slightly overusing them but atleast features like Smart Stay and Air Gestures must be present in Sony. I dont say to blind copy Samsung but Sony must provide it adding its own innovation or ease of use. And Sony must do it fast inventing some thing or other. For example, Sony must improve in Loudspeaker Sound, Camera, HD Secondary Camera, More internal storage, Sensors, etc.
Sony UI is great but still not as great as Samsung. It must have more customisation options like folders in app drawer, smart stay, multi screen, etc.
If Sony comes in innovating things faster than others, no one can stop Sony.

Many ZR and V users are complaining about water damage. Do not trust these phones to withstand more than a splash. Buy Xperia Z and install Aqua Z Camera to take underwater photos using the volume rocker or proximity sensor.
And guys, dont be confused with 8 and 16 GB, its the available space that counts. Z and ZL gives you 3 times more available storage. Three times.
mobile-lover, 13 Aug 2013u say xperia u gives more than xperia zr? I say u r nuts... Xperia u is nthng in frnt of xzr .... moreBut I agree with him. It's true. Xperia U has around 6 GB available storage for apps and games, trysts a lit more than ZR, and Xperia U is a low midrange. That's simply stating facts.
bannu, 14 Aug 2013Hi,
I have purchased the phone yesterday and just I went out into the rain to take some snaps... moremy xperia GO also had the same case,i used it around the swimming pool and some water vapor get into the screen and camera lens.
when sony promote something is waterproof better not to believe it.
it end up at sony service center, and they ask 200 dollars for one month old xperia GO and still in warranty.
water resistant just a gimmick i guess just like smartstay on samsung or htc zoe, but you still have to pay for a gimmick that just not work and when you repair it to service center, count it as some bonus for sony for brilliant marketing strategies and beautiful phone design.
Hat3r, 13 Aug 2013If in your oppinion this phone is a lower midranger just because of its 8 GB card that can be ... morelol, whats that, change the card? Do you have ANY idea what this is about? Its the internal storage, it cant be changed or expanded. You can add a memory card but you will not be able to install apps and games on the card. You are stuck with 4GB of storage for that purpose (around half of the 8GB is used by OS and preinstalled stuff).
Now you have a clue. Please dont attack people who know what they are talking about next time.
