Chandru, 12 Jul 2014Dear i am using Coolpad 2 MI 496, i have 3 issues one is SMS i am not able to receive from Ban... moreYou mentioned that u r not able to connect through wifi. Simply just type password in exact manner with same style (example suppose u have given your home wifi password as , Krruptnetwork and if u r entring like this, krruptnetwork den ut will show authentication problem reason for tis is the first letter its in caps "K" if you enter small "k" it will not connect) try this it will work if not den install wifi fixer app

This phone is simply awesome.
I bought this phone in January. Still it performs with outstanding performance. Be it any game or app, this works. 3G is providing a great speed. I already posted my review on page 8 in January itself. But there are a few changes. Battery backup has decreased. You can get a video playback for 2.5 hours continuously. If you r using 3G, you will get up to 3 hours. Camera is not up to mark. But still, its takes good pictures. It has incredible gaming experience. Be it Asphault 8 or Fifa 14, it plays well..
And a small change in my old opinion.
You can find a back cover and a screen guard for this phone in ebay. Just check it out. I ordered and I got it. Its good. This is the best phone you can get at this price. I bought this phone from HS18.

Sagar, 19 Jul 20142 nd method plzso now I m telling 2nd method who want update there device by them self. the method is not very tricky. its required a little bit of knowledge of pc and nothing more. first download ygdp tool. for this simply search in google spice mi 496 xda. open first one option here u find ygdp tool and stock rom of spice device which is v8. the file is in cbp format. when u install ygdp tool in your pc after that change yoyr pc date to 1st august 2013 now open it and put password 9527… now put your device in download mode. for this press and hold volume up button and put data cable in your device and also in pc after that choose 7268 model than cbp file and click on start button. wait for complete the process.. now disconnect your device remove battery put again and switch on mobile. after that go to settings about phone and check build version it should be v8.that's it now u can receive all msgs…
