Music streaming company Spotify has announced that it will be launching its service in Indonesia - the world's fourth most populous country - this month on March 30. The announcement was made by the company a few days ago on Twitter.
In addition, the company is also reportedly planning to further expand its foot print in Asia with an eye on the Japanese and Indian markets. Spotify is said to be already on a hiring spree in Japan, and have also signed an agreement with the country's top messaging app Line - the deal will allow users of the app to share Spotify tracks.
On the other hand, nothing much is currently known about the company's India plans except that the interest is exploratory at this point in time. For those who aren't aware, Sweden-based Spotify first entered Asia around four years ago.
