Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella announced at the company's Future Unleashed event in India, that the company will be bringing the fourth generation Surface tablet, the Surface Pro 4, to the Indian market in January 2016.
The Surface Pro 4 will be the first device to be launched in India, as Microsoft has so far kept the Surface lineup away from the Indian market. The Surface Pro 4 is the latest and greatest version, with a new 12.3-inch 2736x1824 resolution display, Intel Skylake processor, multiple SSD options up to 1TB, and a thinner magnesium casing.
Microsoft did not reveal which configurations of the Surface Pro 4 will be available in India and what the pricing is going to be like. There's also no word on whether the Surface Book will also be sold some time in future.
Counting the days since beginning of the year. this is a much awaited news. as mentioned already, Price is the Key, if at par. It will rock the Premium Laptop Market. thanks Mr. Nadella.
And Satya also announced that lumia 950 & 950xl will also be launched in India in early December
