Make sure you have a proper GPRS or Edge connection on your connection and also create a Google account on GMail. Once you are done, hit the menu button when it asks you for the Google Account, and select the APN settings option. Find out your APN settings from your carrier, enter them, and enter your Google account credentials. You should be good to go after that! Remember to use this process everytime you factory rest your phone. Irritating, I know :(

Elspunko69, 11 Jul 2009does this phone have a 3.5mm jack for head phones?no 3.5 only a usb but you can find a htc adapter usb to 3.5 mm

ive had 2 G1's the white and the black the white looks better if you purchase a white back from tmobile i personally loved this phone only complaint is the weak battery that drained after only 2hours use on 3g with the backlight dimmed to 0

Gudluck!

Does anyone know if it is possible to write/create a new Microsoft Word Document from the G1? I am thinking of buying this phone for its google connection and I will definitely buy it if it can make Word Docs. PLEASE HELP!!!

please someone help me out, my dad got the phone for me but left all the manuals and the pack bac in the states, now i did factory reset and i cant seem 2 use the fone anymore. it keeps asking me for Google mail accounts. and it cant recognise the gprs ntwk or any WLAN around................. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME OUT

ok, this is THE BEST phone EVER, i have the iphone and the g1, and the g1 is wayyyy better
no issues at all
nice an fast - no lag
loads of apps
very customisable
what more could you possibily want out of this phone?

wannatry, 04 Jun 2009can anyone help me i unlocked the G1 now i can use it with at&t but what should i do so i can ... moreyou can access the internet with wi-fi which requires the password of your internet router that you used. (Should only be 10 digits)
