this is the greatest phone ever with all the new apps that are on the way i think i wont ever need to upgrade.

Can anyone tell me how to get cupcake on the g1 and is it possible to get on the firmware 1.1 or is it only for the american version, please can someone help bcoz I don't know much about technology and its !@%!ing me off.
I saw a vidoe on youtube about cupcake and flash on the g1.

If you unlock it once will you have to re-unlock it when you update the firmware? because i read about the new firmware and i was wondering if i would have to re-unlock it.

hey guys, iv been reading the opinions from page 37 until page 1 and there are quite interesting stuff to read bout,
i own a g1 but i would like to ask what resolution can i convert my videos to?
is it possible to make my own wallpaper instead of using the default ones?

do u obviously think that a virtual keyboard would be better than using an actual keyboard?
plus, there will be a new firmware coming out for G1 which includes faster internet connection and also a virtual keyboard (the thing u wanted)
does the size of the phone really that important? what r u expecting the size to be with a large monitor? do u expect a 3.2" screen to be a phone size like a panasonic a100 or a sony ericsson t105?

i am currently trying to swap this phone at shop. had it for 1 day and just don't like it. the bluetooth is headset only not file transfer and your contacts cant be saved to sim card! only time in 10 years i have disliked a phone!

Accpetance of Android platform is very exlcellence for the advace user who browse internet enjoy the diffient application and try there phone for different open application but the the phone is not meant for fixed functionality user where as it limitation like BT push message and AD2DP profile Limitation is fostration for the user.

the cat, 27 Mar 2009hi everybody , my mon bought it for me in usa but I cant get into the market in order to downl... moreI have the G1 and you have to factory reset the phone ( thats in the settings section ) and then enter your google user name and passoword. When this is done you have to be logged onto your carriers data plan ( or if you have a data plan its good )
