does it work outside the USA? Like for example the Philippines? or do I have to unlock it or something? Please answer!! And does it work on a 3g network?

$am guru, 22 Mar 2011Way better then before, but camera should be 5 mp or more.mp doesnt affect the picture, look at blackberry's they only have 3.2mp but the picture quality is very good.
It's actually an excellent phone. I own it, and am satisfied highly with the speed and ease of use for the keyboard. It's not as childish with all the flashing lights and sounds either. Great buy and combo with the new Truely Unlimited Rate Plan.
The swivel screen sucked... just that it has android is good enough to buy
danger owns the rights to the to the original swivel screen and samsung dose not want to have to pay them for it
also as a kicker for the sidekick 3 i am very excited
Sidekick will be hitting the likely-to-be-acquired carrier for $99.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate and two-year contract with unlimited data -- those that opt for the two-year contract but go with a lower-end data plan will have to pay $149.99 for the Android 2.2 handset..
It would've been better to add a flash
will this phone be unlockable, and will you be able to use it on other networks beside t mobile like a regular android phone ?
sir3n, 23 Mar 2011Actually, if that was the case, it would be 6G because this is the 6th sidekick phone. They a... moreactualy is the 9th and it has nothing to do with previous sidekicks. previous SKs run danger os and this one runs android. it's a lame version of the my touch slide
it's sad that the screen isnt a swivel one like the previous sidekicks :( What a waste since it's their signature look , the swivel screen.
Its NOT 4G, 4G Phones are LTE based!
i know its not GSMarena's fault, but dam Tmobile...!
Looks sweet glad its going to be running on the 4g network us workers for tmobile are quite happy with the change
