My friend purchased this phone on a plan. She likes using it and I admit, it's a step up from the sk3. It's a pity that so many users have been experiencing mechanical faults with the handset, like its habit of restarting and not registering the memory for an extended period of time after it's switched back on.

I would say this phone would be appropriate for teens under 18 years old. 1st off.. Purple??? 2nd Bulky!!! 3rd juvenile looking, looks like a video game or something.. I'm a teen and would never!!! buy this phone!!

Yeah they do cly. The slide will also charge from your pc or laptop while its connected to it.

Does this phone and the previous version, Sidekick 3 have USB cables which you can transfer files from your computer to the phone such as Sony Ericssons?

The mp3 player works great on this phone and it does support an 8gb memory card. It just shows on the phones memory as a 4gb card but you can use all 8gb.

ive had da slide for a while.. nd at first it sems kewl nd everytin.. but den it gets mad borin.. ndd u cant realli put ur own away message on da slide.. buh i love da way it loks. but if ur not a picture maniac or music or hav an ipod.. i would reccomend da i.d its cheapest!

the sidekick slide is the exact phone that i have been looking for.it is cute,it has features and it has an megapixel camera.
