Only one Tecno device has ever got an Android upgrade via OTA since the company's invention, the Spark 3 Pro. And it was mostly because of the 'Hey, me too!!' moment they had back in May of 2019 listing it as a Beta 3 eligible device for the upgrade. The Android upgrade came on April 1st 2020, so I can tell you this with absolute resolution, you might never ever get it. Just flash GSI custom ROMs to assuage that truth. Evolution X works pretty well on my Phantom 9.

To me Tecno is not trying.why will they be using Mediatek MT6762 Helio P22 in 2020. And I don't trust their camera. I used all lot of Tecno phones and their camera is always bad and I found out that what the spec says is not what is really on the phone so I had to switch

My only concerns are if and how... moreWhenever you are buying Tecno phones don't expect an upgrade in the android version the highest you will get is their HIOS upgrade and that's just the UI and not android upgrade

the only thing i like about this phone is the weight, but before nko. no usb c, fast charge, front gorilla glass. whitish f&b cameras, below average chipset, very low ppi density etc.

QUEEM, 21 Mar 2020I am torn in between of purchasing a Tecno C12 PRO n a Samsung A30 someone advice!!! 12 pro is a great device. I've used several brands in the past but this one is really good. And these are a few reasons - good cameras, on screen fingerprint scanner, amoled display, huge ram (6gb), huge internal storage (64gb), loud/clear speakers, charges fast enough, battery lasts more than a day on heavy usage, stylish design, etc, etc, what else do you need a great phone for a that attractive price?!
