AlexAnderson2050, 05 May 2020Despite the fact that this phone is not the best that $250 can buy, but I really like it. It'... moreI agree with you in terms of outdated micro usb. But at that price range, considering a moderate battery with absolutely no fast charging rating, an outdated Helip P35 chip (this iy biggest annoyance; this device is basically a rebranded Camon 11 Pro, with a better screen that is), I wouldn't buy it. Hell even a device that costs almost half of the $250 price tag of this, the Realme C3 sports a Helio G70, that can arguably outperform the P35 in some aspects. And since time immemorial, TECNO do not send Android upgrades for their devices via OTA. Buy it and be sure to have it on Android 10 until the time of Jesus' return 😂
Despite the fact that this phone is not the best that $250 can buy, but I really like it. It's partly because of its *motorized popup* selfie camera which makes it possible to have no notch on the display.
On the downside, I think the 4000 mAh battery is a little too small for this phone and I prefer it to have 5000 mAh capacity. Also, the micro USB slot would be better to be USB C.
These are my humble personal opinions which I'm sure not everybody would agree to.
spencer, 30 Apr 2020usb is outdated, helio p35 is shit, useless 64mp whitish camera, heavy for nothing phone.
Microusb is dated... But helio P35 is a decent chipset....
Not the best obviously but pretty decent for a phone at this price
usb is outdated, helio p35 is shit, useless 64mp whitish camera, heavy for nothing phone.
Poor Chipset to fuel 64MP Sony lense. Tecno wake up n upgrade in terms of hardware. Just a dream for Helio P35 a moderate processor to drive such a powerful lense. The photo will jst be of big resolution for nothing.
Devil, 18 Apr 2020Micro USB? Is this 2015?Really!
I wish they could've at least switch to type C charging...
Other than that, my Tecno Camon 12 pro is the last of the Tecno kinds to use....🙂
Better shift to Huawei or iPhone🙂
The device is fantastic.
Am in love with it.
Only the battery capacity , should have 5000MAH.
Well done TECNO
When will is be available in Cameroon and how much will is cost.
Please how did Tecno fit a 64 MP, f/1.9, 26mm (wide), 1/1.72", 0.8µm, PDAF
5 MP, f/2.2, 14mm (ultrawide)
2 MP, f/2.8, (depth) into a Mediatek MT6765V/W Helio P35 (12nm) chipset? Even Mediatek says the Mediatek MT6765V/W Helio P35 (12nm) can only carry a 13 + 13MP dual camera and 25MP single camera. Once this question is answered properly I'll proceed to fulfil my pre-order. Otherwise this is just another trick to rip people off with a low range processor and fake specifications.
