Tecno Camon 17, Camon 17 Pro are officially in India

Tecno India promised to bring the Camon 17 and Camon 17 Pro smartphones to its fans, and the day has finally come. Both devices are up for pre-order on Amazon, with first sale scheduled for next Monday, July 26.

The vanilla Camon 17 comes with a Helio G85 chipset, four cameras, and Android 11. It has a big 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging, and Tecno has priced the handset at INR12,999 or about $175. Currently, there’s only one memory choice - 6/128 GB.

The Camon 17 Pro, which we already reviewed, has a slightly more powerful Helio G95 chip, better cameras with a 64 MP shooter at the helm, and a big 6.8” LCD with Full HD+ resolution.

The unit we reviewed came with 25W fast charging, but India is getting 33W. The price here is INR16,999 ($230) once the sale begins. Users purchasing the Camon 17 Pro will also get the chance to grab a free pair of Ear Buds 1, Tecno’s own TWS earphones, which cost INR1,999 if purchases separately.
