Australian carrier Telstra accidentally sent out its shipment of Pixel devices ahead of the official October 20 release date for the pre-orders.
One reddit user started a thread about receiving his Pixel from Telstra earlier than usual, and also provided plenty of information about the device, such as pictures, videos, benchmark scores and preliminary battery life results. One Telstra rep even responded to the thread saying that is quite often that the carrier ends up sending devices ahead of schedule, supposedly accidentally every time.

Nexus 6 better than 6p. Just bring pixel z, z force, z play asap
Too much accidents these days.
Telstra probably didn't send it out early on purpose. Australia post is so terrible these days it takes between 2-5 days for anything to arrive. And telstra should never be accused of doing anything on time.
