Tax season is in full effect here in the United States where millions of Americans are getting their tax returns. Many folks take advantage of this extra money to stimulate the economy by upgrading their smartphones. T-Mobile will start running a promotion on Friday that will give $200 off to those who pay full price for an iPhone X on an EIP (Equipment Installment Plan).
This $200 giftcard (via mail-in rebate) will be given to customers who trade-in eligible smartphones as a bonus for trading in these smartphones. Eligible phones for the trade-in include:
T-Mobile is also currently running an iPhone BOGO offer that gets you a free iPhone 8 if you buy an eligible iPhone while transferring a number and with qualifying trade-in. You’ll receive a rebate of up to $700 (or the full pre-tax price of an iPhone 8).
Eligible devices for this deal include all Samsung flagships since the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 4. The LG G5, G6, and V20, and any iPhone since the iPhone 5S including the iPhone SE leading up to the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.
$200 credit in the form of a gift card? That takes several weeks to get? How is this any better than selling your previous phone on eBay? Especially in the case of 7 or better! T-Mobile, you can do better.
Lol, how very generous of them, considering that most of the phones that they will accept as trade-in are worth considerably more than $200.00.
These trades are only to support Apple. Who clever enough would like to trade best OS android for Apple buggy OS. Even 1.5 cupcake was better than current IOS. I have to laugh.
