T-Mobile to get the Blackberry Torch 9810 on November 9

BlackBerry Touch UI T-Mobile

T-Mobile US has just announced that it will be offering the BlackBerry Torch 9810. The QWERTY-packing vertical slider will be hitting the shelves of the T-Mobile shops on November 9.

The BlackBerry flagship will become one of the most expensive smartphones in T-Mobile's lineup, going for a cent under $250 after a $50 mail-in rebate. And you only get this kind of deal, if you are willing to sign a two-year contract.

Of course, as we found out when we reviewed it, the Torch is a viable upgrade option for all BlackBerry users, so we wouldn't go as far as saying that it's not worth it. Yet, anyone who's not loyal to the BlackBerry cause will find it hard to justify spending that much on a phone sporting early 2010 hardware and what's hardly the most user-friendly OS in the world.

The Blackberry Torch 9810 will be available nationwide at T-Mobile US retail stores, dealers, national retailers as well as online at the company's web site.
