Last month, we got hints that Verizon is planning to launch the Galaxy S10 5G on May 16 and today the carrier confirmed that launch date. The phone’s pre-order page is live and you can expect to receive your brand new 5G phones by May 16.
The 256GB model will go for $1,299 while the 512GB variant will cost $1,399. The phone will come only in Majestic Black and Crown Silver color variants. Those who pre-order will receive a pair of Galaxy buds and a Samsung wireless charging battery pack as an added bonus.
Alongside the Galaxy S10 5G pre-orders, Verizon also announced 20 more US cities that will get 5G coverage. The list includes Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dallas, Des Moines, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Little Rock, Memphis, Phoenix, Providence, San Diego, Salt Lake City and Washington DC.
The carrier did not give an exact time frame for this expansion and just mentioned it's planning to expand its 5G network coverage for these locations the end of the year.
