vivo G2 announced with Dimensity 6020 and 5,000 mAh battery

vivo Android Announcement

Vivo G2 is the latest entry-level smartphone to launch in China. The device has a Dimensity 6020 chip, a 90Hz refresh rate screen and a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W charging. These specs align with the vivo Y36i launched in December.

There’s a 6.56-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The waterdrop notch cutout houses a 5MP front-facing camera while the back features a 13MP main camera. OriginOS 3 based on Android 13 covers the software side while the battery comes in at 5,000 mAh and supports 15W charging.

Vivo G2 comes in a single Space Black color option. It starts at CNY 1,199 ($168) for the 4/128GB trim and goes up to CNY 1,899 ($267) for the 8/256GB model.

This is simply overpriced. I wouldn't criticize BBK if they made this affordable, but asking for high prices for mediocre specifications and questionable software support is ridiculous for any brand. It's against their core policies for t...

Why? Not everyone is ballin' out of control and can afford 1000 dollar flagship phones. Budget phones are necessary for a lot of people! I personally would probably just save and buy a Nothing Phone.
