Many iQOO 3 owners were complaining of battery endurance drop after Android 11 update. It seems they have fixed that.

Limitbreaker, 27 Feb 2021Noice!!I am using the iQOO 3 for few days now. The software side of this phone is pretty well done and very stable to say the least. I found iQOO UI to be a re-skined version of Vivo’s FuntouchOS. The moment you go to setting everything looks and feels identical to my Vivo NEX S. Every Vivo propriety apps have just been renamed, like VivoCloud to iQOOCloud here. It is no wonder I am able to log into iQOOCloud with my existing VivoCloud account and download all my contacts & SMS from NEX S instantly via cloud.
The phone arrived with below UI version:

So two consecutive FOTA updates, gave me an Android version upgrade from 10 to 11 and a year of security patch upgrades. Not bad. Immediately after Android 11 update, I performed a hard factory reset, to clear the cache and wipe any Android 10 OS user image backup that existed to be used in Android 11. These previous OS user images just makes the phone slow and erratic. Result is the phone still remains blazing fast on Android 11 and battery endurance is impressive. Initially very happy for what I paid for the phone. Will further update my personal experiences on a later date.

Abhishek16, 25 Feb 2021which is the best phone under 30k ?Yesterday, bought a brand new iQOO 3 from Flipkart. I got the 4G variant as 5G bands are not even finalized in India. Mine is in Silver color with 8/128GB memory configuration.
It arrived today. These are some 1 year old units with manufacturing date set to March, 2020. Opening the case, the battery was completely depleted, hence charging with supplied charger. Will set up the phone later. Initial impressions are the phone looks classy in metal glass sandwich design, has a certain heft to it which signifies premium.
The main reasons I got this phone are flagship Snapdragon 865 SoC, 8GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB UFS 3.1 storage and most importantly the presence of 3.5 mm audio jack. It may be the last of the dying breed of flagship smartphones before crappy TWS takes over.
Not only that, audio jack output is Hi-Res certified because iQOO 3 ships with inbuilt AKM AK4377A audio chip. AK4377A is a DAC + headphone amplifier which produces much better audio output and quality that Snapdragon audio codecs. However Snapdragon audio chips like WCD9341 have closed up the gap in terms of sound quality to AKM . I am still to hear how it sound with quality headphones.
Finally the reason to gun for it was the price. The phone was unveiled in our country on 25th Feb, 2020 and the price then was ₹37K for 8/128GB version. A year passed on and yesterday (26th Feb, 2021) the price came down to ₹25K. Adding some card offers it all came down to ₹23,765 ($322/€264). This was just an unputdownable offer which I cannot resist.
For $322, iQOO 3 provides a lot of hardware but it remains to be seen how the end user experience is. This is more important to me along with the audio quality through headphone jack. I will update after using the phone for some time.

Does any one encounter omacp app in your phone? Iam unable to get rid of this app. How do we uninstall this app? I think it's a malware.

This phone was really great before the Update and I recommended the phone to many of my friends, but since the update it's become terrible and same as my last phn, battery life was main thing I bought this phn for I was getting 2 days of backup sometimes but now I prey for it to last 10 hours, iqoo is a new company and its not iphone that people will tolerate and keep buying their phns it will some become like Micromax and extinct from existence for pulling these cheap tricks on their customers, I trusted a new brand and now I m suffering, I will suggest new buyers to never go for this brand
