vivo has unveiled three phones in the Y200 series so far – the vanilla Y200, the Y200e with a processor upgrade and the Y200i with an LCD and a larger battery. Yes, “series” and, yes, “so far”. The company just shared two videos showing off two more Y200 models and while looking at them, we noticed one more.

First, let’s look at the vivo Y200 or possibly “Y200 5G”. The original Y200 has 5G connectivity too, so the name doesn’t make too much sense. Anyway, the new model will have a larger battery at 6,000mAh (up from 4,800mAh) and promises 2 days of battery life. It will also support faster charging at 80W, almost double the 44W rating of the original.

The Orange colorway will have a vegan leather back with a protective coating and scratch resistance. The other two colorways are either glass or plastic (probably glass, it’s what the other Y200 uses).

Then there’s the vivo Y200 GT. As you can expect from the name, this is a higher performance model and features the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. The Adreno GPU will be pushing graphics to a 144Hz display with 1.5K resolution (1200p or so). For comparison, the vivo Y200 uses a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1, while the Y200e and Y200i got the newer Snapdragon 4 Gen 2.

Like its sibling, the GT will feature a 6,000mAh battery (promising 2 days of use) and fast 80W charging. The squircle design of the camera island sets these two Y200 models apart from the first three, which use either a rounded rectangle or a circle.

Looking for more information on the vivo Y200 and Y200 GT, we ended up on the official landing page (vivo China). It promises that the phones will launch on May 20 (Monday) at 14:30 local time.

Besides the videos, there is a third model – vivo Y200t, also with 5G connectivity. There isn’t any additional info on that one, but the circular camera island looks like the one on the Y200i. The Y200i has a 6,000mAh battery, by the way, but only 44W charging.

Funny, because the China iQOO Z9 will be launched in Indonesia many times from now. So technically the China iQOO Z9 is not really China exclusive. 😅
