vivo V50 launch date leaks alongside its release date

Earlier today vivo revealed the upcoming V50's design and key specs, but the brand stopped short of giving us an actual launch date for the phone.

That's where a new rumor comes in, saying that the V50 will actually launch on February 17 in India. That may or may not be accurate, the only way to know is to wait and see what happens. We will say that having a listing up on the official website 13 days ahead of the launch isn't something we usually see, but that can just be vivo's way of doing things for this particular model.

The V50 is allegedly going to go on sale one week from the launch, so on February 24. The information supposedly comes from a retail source associated with the vivo brand, but of course, do take all of this with a pinch of salt.

The V50 will be available in Rose Red, Starry Blue, and Titanium Grey. It's going to have three 50 MP cameras, two on the rear (main with OIS and 119° ultrawide), one on the front (with autofocus). The phone will have a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging, a quad-curved screen, IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, and Android 15 on board with vivo's Funtouch OS 15 on top.
