The vivo V50e has the Dimensity 7300 SoC under the hood, like its predecessor V40e. It's paired with 8GB RAM, and you get two storage options - 128GB and 256GB. The V50e runs Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15 out of the box, and vivo has promised three Android version upgrades and four years of security updates for the smartphone.

The vivo V50e has a 6.77" quad-curved AMOLED display on the front, which has a 120Hz refresh rate and FullHD+ resolution. The screen - protected by Diamond Shield Glass developed in partnership with Schott Glass - has 1,800 nits peak brightness and HDR10+ support.

Additionally, the vivo V50e's display has a fingerprint reader underneath for biometric authentication, and there's a centered punch-hole for the 50MP selfie camera having autofocus and "front fill light" support. Moreover, unlike its predecessor, the V50e's selfie camera can record videos in 4K resolution.

Around the back of the vivo V50e are two more 50MP cameras - a primary camera using a Sony IMX882 sensor (with OIS) and an ultrawide camera with 116° FOV. These are joined by a circular flash vivo prefers calling Aura Light.

The vivo V50e comes with India-exclusive wedding-style portrait effects (Prosecco, Neo Retro, Pastel) and some AI-powered features, including AI Image Expander and AI Photo Enhancer. Additionally, it supports underwater photography.

Keeping the vivo V50e up and running is a 5,600 mAh battery, which is 100 mAh larger than the V40e's cell and charges 10W faster at up to 90W.

The rest of the vivo V50e's highlights include IP68 and IP69 ratings and dual stereo speakers.

The smartphone comes in Sapphire Blue and Pearl White colors, with the former having unique patterns on all of its units.

Trio 50MP cameras? So why not update the spec sheet? Sounds like it's basically the V50 minus the Zeiss branding (and weaker SoC). Still, pretty neat if it has all 50MP cameras, especially if the selfie one also has auto focus.
