vivo Android

vivo launched the X200 Ultra, its most high-end flagship device, a couple of days ago, and it's already been disassembled on video today. The video is in Chinese but you can turn on YouTube's auto-translated closed captions and they do a very good job.

So, if you've been wondering what's hiding under that enormously thick camera island, now's your chance to find out. Spoiler alert: very big cameras.

All three of the device's cameras use very big sensors, and those need a lot of space. vivo also didn't want to make the main body of the phone very thick, so that's how it came to this. The thick camera island is definitely divisive in China, but the presenter of the video makes an interesting point about the thickness making it a perfect place to support the phone with your index finger when holding it.

Of course, in-hand feel is subjective so you can only truly judge it once you've held it, and unfortunately you most likely won't handle this one, as it's going to only officially be sold in China, at least for now. Even so, it's nice to be able to look at its insides to see what Chinese consumers are being offered here.

no, these si/c batteries are treated very carefully. Watch Geekerwan's video on batteries and you'll understand what i mean https://youtu.be/zTmVHBrrdQc?si=B5Xj-id3JB_tlBMq

its common practice for batteries, that rated capacity is lower than actual(typical) capacity just look at those printed information on those batteries its simply because the battery chemistry cant be created at exact same value, some battery...

Unfortunately the phone lacks several of the bands that my carrier uses for LTE and 5G.Because I live in an area where signal is poor and unreliable, so using a phone that's missing bands is pretty much not an option for me :(
