It was the first phone with UDFPS, released back in late 2017. The screen was fragile and the scanner failed with the screen scratched. Later in 2018 fellow BBK brands jumped into UDFPS, with Huawei and Xiaomi in their higher end (see mate rs or mi8 ...

Wow I'm guessing this is the first phone with UDFPS? Never even heard of it until now. I only remember in-display fingerprint scanners being a thing since early 2019, but wow this phone long predates those phones. Very cool Vivo.
