vivo Android

Back at CES 2018, we had a hands-on with vivo’s in-display fingerprint scanner. The company said the device would hit the market in early 2018 and the phone already arrived on TENAA. It is called vivo X20 Plus UD, and although very similar to the regular X20 Plus, it does not have a square rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The vivo X20 UD will come with 6.43” screen with Full HD+ resolution. The display is an OLED panel since this is what the in-screen scanner needs to work. According to Synaptics, the sensor illuminates and reads the crests of the fingerprint, and this would not be possible with an LCD.

The rest of the specs are already known from the regular vivo X20 Plus - Snapdragon 660 chipset with 4 GB RAM. Internal storage is 128 GB. The main dual camera is 12 MP with f/1.8 aperture + 5 MP, while the one on the front is 12 MP with f/2.0 lens. The battery comes with 3800 mAh capacity.

They dont develop it. They only invest on it. This under display fingerprint sensor is fully developed by Synaptics. Why people keep thinking phone manufacturer is the one making it? It is not in-house hardware!!!
