So it follows the same no-nonsense camera setup as the X30 Pro before it but with a newer main camera sensor and gimbal-like stabilization. This should be interesting.

Jingkongfashi, 24 May 2020I won't dare to say flagship camera, maybe slightly better than mid range. Vivo has never been... more50 MP, f/1.6, (wide), 1/1.31", 1.2 micron (2.4 micron effective pixel size) Dual Pixel PDAF.
If this isn't flagship, I don't know what is!
This is better than The HMX sensor on Mi 10 and Motorola Edge+ or the HM1 on S20U.

shino03, 24 May 2020I honestly don't understand the function or need of two telephoto cameras, such a waste of space. Coz the 5x periscope only gives sharp optically zoomed images at 5x.
Photos at 2x or 3x will not have the same quality.
The use of 2x telephoto along with 5x periscope allows manufacturers to give good sharp quality at 2x or 5x and at 3x and 4x, images can be good using hybrid results.

Choose one for few years to come.

SD768 is most likely to power the X50s.
I am using the X30 with Exynos 980 and it's not bad, but Samsung don't have a decent new SoC to put in it and Vivo won't put the same chip twice.
My hopes are for the MTK 1000 which they used in the new IQOO. That would be a killer deal as it's almost as good as the 865 and defo better than the E990.
