Tw, 02 Feb 2015Using the second sim card slot as an microsd card slot is a major downside!Depends on your storage needs :) I am not a very video person.
For me, 16GB is more than sufficient to store all my pictures, contacts, downloads and mp3 music on the go.

Bought this phone after contemplating many phones and after much thought. Firstly my needs:
- good quality dual-sim phone
- preferably with 4G LTE on one sim (there's not many good phones out there with 4G even for one sim)
- not too big at 6" and not too small less than 5"
- good looking to carry for business and pleasure
- good battery life
I zeroed in on to buy HTC Desire 820s, but when I went to the store to buy it, it's huge longish screen put me of and the battery life based on some feedback from friends.
I came across Vivo X5 (not X5 Max as it is called in this part of the World) and pleasantly found it met all my requirements. Only downside was:
- cost; it was quite a premium compared to other Chinese phones and
- supposed to be a weak battery @ 2250 mAH.
But the store person explained it's "iManager" feature that helps to shut down unused apps automaitcally and save battery. I bought it and using for a week now. Based on my usage, ie long conference-calls and mostly browsing the battery lasts more than a day.
Need to add, it's slim profile, premium looks, professional camera options, "air touch" feature where you can unlock and slide without touching the phone and the sturdy aluminium strip along the 4 sides all adds to the really premium look and is a joy to look at.

Look, all of you chaps without a vivo phone please go and try out the phone before giving comments on bad battery life n all based on your own experience of other brands with similar battery sizes. I have an xshot and the battery is just 2600. Comparing to Huawei p7 with similar battery size 2600mah, or alcatel !+ 2500mah, this phone has never run out of power on me.I had 30% at 12 am daily even with heavy usage. Phone also does not get hot under heavy load like games or clash of clans or GPS or anything, rarely gets hot. Best android phone in the world. Fun os is the best os used so far, smooth like iOS. Go get one.

I bought the vivo X5Max few days ago and this Smartphone has some really great surprises to unleash. The first things that make me interested in the mobile is that it is the slimmest phone in the world. While when I went on to have a look at the phone, the features surprised me. The first thing was the Funtouch 2.0 OS, that was just awesome to use and especially the smart wake functions was something that was a first for me. It’s so easy to access the apps! As I am a big time music junkie and the X5Max has great sounds to rock you. I found the sound system the best I have experienced till now. It provides a double card slot, supports all 4G signals and with a very fast processor the surfing experience is pleasing. The 13 MP camera is good enough and you will not require a higher end, point and shoot camera for pictures. With 128 GB expandable memory, I found the smartphone good enough to have in the 30 k range.
The features that make the phone stand out of the crowd are-
1.1080x1920 AMOLED display.
4.Dual SD card slots
But the serious DRAWBACK is its battery of 2000 mah , and its Price
ASUS zenfone 2 will give it a great competition with similar specs but priced a lot cheaper...
VIVO has to consider things more seriously...
can anyone tell me if its worth to buy it?
and how is the camera function and Battery performence/
its an idiotic phone with such a high price..with 2000 mAh battery supporting amoled display with such high resolution and camera quality is also poor..!
dont buy vivo mobile bcz camera quality is too bad, poor battery backup
why all vivo phone expensive? it just a good camera but other soso
