vivo Y28s 5G emerges in NCC certification

Last week we saw the upcoming vivo Y28s 5G appear in a Geekbench listing and now the same device has passed through Taiwan’s NCC database complete with live images and specs.

The upcoming budget device is once again seen with the V2346 identifier and we now get our first live look at its design. The accompanying spec sheet confirms a 6.56-inch display which is likely an LCD as well as a 5,000 mAh battery and a 15W charger.

We can also see a dual cameras on the back,a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB-C port, headphone jack, and a hybrid SIM slot. The listings also confirm dual-band Wi-Fi 5 connectivity and NFC.

Last week's Geekbench listing confirmed the Y28s will feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset with 5G connectivity and Android 14 out the box. Y28s 5G will be offered in 6/128GB and 8/256GB trims.

This 6300 chipset being only the 6100++ variant, also being a 6080+++, which is to say is just the G99 with 5G should only be used as entry level phone (as the G99 and 6080 are used in the sub 70-100$ phones) but no vivo will make it pricey, Id suppo...

I feel like on the inside this phone is identical to the Realme C65 5G, but with a different camera layout and a notched display. I could be wrong but the specs sound familiar.
