vivo Android Announcement

vivo's Y30 series includes three smartphones - Y30, Y30 Standard Edition, and a Y30 for China. That number has now increased to four as the company just unveiled the vivo Y30g.

The vivo Y30g is built around a 6.51" HD+ LCD with a notch for the 8MP selfie camera. Around the back, we get a dual camera setup comprising 13MP primary and 2MP depth sensor units. The third circle above the flash isn't for a real camera.

Under the hood, the vivo Y30g has a Helio P65 SoC paired with 8GB RAM. The smartphone boots Android 11-based OriginOS and comes with 128GB storage. Although it also has a microSD card slot, which allows storage expansion by up to 1TB.

The rest of the vivo Y30g's features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 5,000 mAh battery that's charged through a microUSB port at up to 18W.
