If you have been waiting for VideoLAN's VLC media player to arrive on Microsoft's Xbox One gaming console, here's some good news: the app has been submitted to the Windows Store for approval, meaning it should be available soon.
The news came courtesy of VLC developer Hugo Beauzée-Luyssen.
#VLC for #XboxOne has been submitted to the store, hopefully it will land in your living rooms in a few days!

This comes just a few months after VideoLAN released a Windows 10 Universal app for its media player, allowing users of Win10 PCs, tablets, and mobiles to use VLC on their devices.
Xbox starts looking like a PC wannabe. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but if it'll happen, what will be the point of buying the console in the first place? Unless that's the plan.
